The very best way to protect and secure your rudder while traveling. Made of the same tough fabric as our Keel cover, the rudder cover slides up to completely enclose the rudder and skeg, fastening with straps and Fastex buckles. Our design includes four horizontal battens, two at the top of the rudder and two at the one-third point down the rudder. #10 Stainless steel zipper top stop is placed over a tooth on each side of YKK Vislon zipper and bent in place with pliers.  It eliminates the need to cut the zipper and chain with a lot knife or sew if down to form a  stop.
